My New Favourite Yogurt—Petit Pot

03.26.2016

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all taking some well deserved time to relax and enjoy your weekend.

This past week, something pretty caught my eye while grocery shopping. So pretty, I had to buy it right away just because I liked the packaging design. I do that sometimes. Wouldn't you feel compelled to drop these dainty little glass jars into your shopping cart too?

As usual, when something catches my attention, I look up everything I can about it. This yogurt is a new line, Petit Pot, made by a dairy company in Quebec called Laiterie Chalifoux. Now say that company name out loud. It even sounds nice to say, doesn't it?

I'm not the only one. These tiny pots became an immediate hit and not only that, everyone started ordering the colourful lids that the company sells on their website. If you hurry, you can still take advantage of the free offer on their site for plastic lids that snap on and make the petits pots watertight.

You can get cute little lids that go on the petit pot for free, until their promotional supply runs out (see link above).

I tried their rhubarb flavour with real pieces of fruit (vegetable?) on the bottom. The yogurt itself tastes creamy and not too sweet. I sprinkled some granola and almond slices to pack in additional servings of grains and nuts --> more on my healthy eating goals in another post!

Guess what I'll be using these pots for after I'm done with them? They start with "S" and rhymes with flocculents...

I'm already thinking of all the ways I can reuse this cute little jar.
