What to wear for Christmas Mini Sessions

Okay so you're all excited about booking a holiday photo session this year for your boys and can't wait to get started! But then the panic sets in when you think about the actual day and what they should wear for their portraits. Good news! I'm putting together outfit ideas for clients who are joining me for my holiday mini sessions so I thought I would share them with you too. This set of what-to-wear ideas is for boys or two brothers (you'll see the outfits are paired off) and will go well with neutral backgrounds, a photo session in the woods or a large field.
Most of these outfits I found on the Carter's/OshKosh B'Gosh site (they've got some super cute outfits there so make sure you take a look) and one of the plaid shirts featured here is from the Joe Fresh kids collection. Click on the image for the full source list.
If you are taking photos yourself, get your kids standing in front of a plain wall or by the Christmas tree. Make sure you have bright natural light coming in from a window and you'll get really nice shots of the kids in cute coordinating outfits!
